When a student or employee has a concern for his/her personal safety in traveling from one point on campus to another, he/she is urged to call the Campus Safety office to request an escort. A uniformed officer will be dispatched to either walk with or transport that person to his/her destination.
Safety escorts are available by dialing 508-286-8213 or x8213 from any campus telephone. Also, located on campus are 16 blue light emergency telephones which can be used to request a safety escort.
Students or employees who are requesting a safety escort from a campus parking lot are asked to wait inside their vehicles with their doors locked. Also, students are asked to keep their parking lights on to aid officers in locating their vehicle in the lot.
