Commencement 2012

Join us as we celebrate the Class of 2012 at Wheaton's 177th Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 19, at 10 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Janet Robinson, former president and CEO of the New York Times company.

Commencement will take place outside in the Dimple, with open seating. In March, families of graduating students will receive a letter from the Dean's Office with further details about the weekend; the information will also be posted on this website.

Weekend activities for parents and families
Please consider joining us on Friday the 18th for a variety of activities. Traditionally these have included:

• exhibition of work by senior studio art majors
• performance by senior theatre majors
• concert by student a cappella groups
• president's reception for graduates and their guests
• seniors-only "sentimental night" celebration in the Chapel
• traditional candle-floating ceremony on Peacock Pond for all

Dinner is available for guests on Friday, and there will be an all-campus lunch following Commencement on Saturday.
