Physics

Big universe. Small classes. As a physics major at Wheaton, you’ll learn about and experiment with subjects like optics, quantum mechanics, electromagnetic fields, astronomy, and planetary science. You will also embark on original scientific research, which could lead to co-authoring a paper with your professor or presenting your findings at a national conference. A physics major also aligns with our 3+2 dual degree option, which leads to a bachelor of science or a bachelor of arts from Wheaton and a bachelor’s in engineering from a partner program.
