Discover Wheaton

Welcome!

Located between Boston and Providence, Wheaton is a four-year, private liberal arts college with 1,550 students. Our diverse community of students, faculty and staff come from across the country and around the globe.

The Wheaton experience encompasses many things--a chance to explore new ideas and passions, make connections and lifelong friendships, and to learn about yourself and the world.

At Wheaton, you can expect to know your professors. In fact, the close collaboration with faculty is a hallmark of the Wheaton experience. Our classes are small--typically with 15 to 20 students--and your professors become mentors and advisors, and often friends.

The Wheaton Curriculum is a visionary approach to the liberal arts. We offer more than 600 courses, 40 majors and 50 minors. At the heart of the curriculum is the idea and practice of interdisciplinary work, implemented through connected courses.

Outside of the classroom, Wheaton students are active and engaged members of the community. We are a residential college with a vibrant social scene and campus life. With more than 50 student-run clubs and organizations on campus--from social activism, to music and dance, to community service--there is never a shortage of things to do or ways to get involved.

Wheaton's resources help students make the most of their experience, with six unique advising centers dedicated to global education, academics, internships, collaborative learning, multiculturalism and course enrollment.
