Accreditation
Preparing for Re-accreditation
The college's re-accreditation, which occurs every ten years, is overseen by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Wheaton's Accreditation Steering Committee has coordinated a detailed review of the college, in accordance with the eleven NEASC accreditation standards set forth by NEASC's Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (http://www.neasc.org/). Through consultation with students, faculty and staff across campus, the steering committee has produced a self-study report addressing the standards, which include examination of academic programs, the faculty, information technology, research, and Wheaton's planning and evaluation.
