If you know how to — or want to learn how to — knit, solder, weld, letterpress print, sculpt, design, or anything else where you take a glimmer of an idea and bring it to life, then you are welcome here. Come join us in making. We have hand tools, access to a machine shop, robots, computers, microphones, and more plus friendly students, staff, and faculty that want to help you — and for you to help them!
During the 2012-2013 academic year, we are celebrating the Turing Centenary with a focus on the stages in the history of computing from the loom (and Babbage's/Lovelace's extensions from textiles to computing) to modern touch interfaces on mobile devices.
