National laurels

Linda Eisenmann, a scholar of higher education and an experienced academic administrator, has been selected as Provost. Eisenmann comes to Wheaton from the College of Arts and Sciences at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. (Read more.)

Think globally, celebrate locally
On Earth Day, April 22, Wheaton will break ground for an apple orchard, organized and implemented by students. (Read more.) That evening, the campus community will discuss environmental issues with Julia Butterfly Hill, an activist who occupied a redwood tree for two years to save it from destruction. (Read more.)
