Philosophy

Philosophy is at the core of a liberal arts education. Asking big questions and exploring possibilities builds reasoning and analytical thinking skills ever-important to ethical leadership. Wheaton’s philosophy program is flexible; you can choose classes that match your curiosity, from the nature of morality to metaphysics. Adding philosophy as a minor or second major can broaden your way of thinking about your primary subject. And this versatile major also prepares you for graduate study in a range of disciplines, as well as for law or medical school.
