What Parents Are Saying
We are thrilled to find a challenging experience that helped my child realize their own independence and readiness for the collegiate environment.
We looked at a few programs before selecting Wheaton and it was our favorite. It was flexible in course selection which was a huge factor for us.
Affordability
Many of our students are from New England. Nearly half of our alumni stay in the area to pursue meaningful careers. We’re committed to making a high-quality liberal arts and sciences education more accessible to regional students through generous scholarships and grants.
As a New England resident, your student may qualify for our New England Regional Grant which effectively reduces tuition by half. This gift aid is applied directly to your tuition bill and is renewable all four years. Your student may also qualify for additional merit- or need-based aid. In Fall 2024, the majority of students received between $35,000-$45,000 per year.

Program Options
We offer two exciting programs so your student can tailor the experience to their interests and goals.
Student Experience
Students choose two courses in a single subject area or across disciplines—from the arts to sciences. Your student will learn how to navigate college courses and explore potential majors and career paths through small class discussions, our cutting-edge research and technology labs, and creative studios. Wheaton Pre-College will help your student make informed decisions about their future studies and be better prepared for college.
Athlete Experience
In this one-of-a-kind program, your student will experience a preview of college life as a varsity student-athlete. They’ll take one college-level course and train with NCAA coaches, with a focus on skill development and how to navigate the college athletic recruitment process. Sports Offered: Artistic Swimming, Distance Running, Fencing, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball or Strength and Conditioning (relevant to any sport). All programs are co-ed except for Lacrosse and Field Hockey (women’s).
