Gershenfeld\, MIT Professor and Director of the Center for Bits + Atoms\, originally taught “How to Make Almost Anything” as an MIT course which grew into FabAcademy in 2009. Students who successfully complete FabAcademy will graduate with an extensive digital portfolio detailing their progress and final project. They will also gain the knowledge needed to take an idea from prototype to product. Wheaton will be the first college in New England to offer FabAcademy to its students.
