DESCRIPTION:Please join us today Monday\, May 12\, at 11:30 a.m. at the entrance to Mars Science Center\, for Wheaton’s Honors Thesis Parade! The parade will assemble at 11:15 and begin promptly at 11:30. \nWe celebrate the enormous achievement of an Honors Thesis with a parade from Mars Science Center\, around the quad\, and to the Doll’s House\, where students will check that their theses have been uploaded correctly\, Provost Millen will read the titles of the theses\, and President Whelan will assist the students as they each ring the thesis gong! \nPlease join us for this annual rite of spring. Wear your Alternate Regalia (or your academic regalia)\, or an appropriate costume (or really whatever you wish)\, bring instruments\, noise-makers\, signs\, flags\, and banners\, and help celebrate Wheaton students’ triumphs after their year of very hard work! Friends and supporters of thesis students are encouraged to join the parade. \nAll are welcome to march along with the honors thesis students or stand around the Dimple and watch!

DESCRIPTION:Opening Reception: Thursday\, March 19\, 5-8pm\nMarch 17–April 11\, 2026\nClosing Reception: Friday\, April 10\, 1-3pm\nAnd so… Claudia Fieo: Selected Works (1986-2026) highlights the arc of the artist’s visual investigations over the past four decades as she returns again and again to pondering the ineffable mysteries intrinsic to living a life: the inevitability of time passing; the capriciousness of memory; and the tensions that exist in relationships-with one’s self\, with others\, and with the natural world & built environment. \nIn honor of Professor Claudia Fieo’s retirement after 34 years of distinguished teaching in printmaking\, graphic design\, and foundations\, Hand-drawn: Alumni Works from Wheaton College’s Collections celebrates the enduring creativity of her students. This exhibition features 25 years of acquisitions from the Friends of Art Student Art Collection\, an initiative spearheaded by Professor Fieo and funded by the Friends of Art alumni organization to purchase exceptional work each year from the Senior Visual Art Exhibition. \nSpanning prints\, drawings\, animation\, and sculpture\, the featured works are drawn from the Student Art Collection\, the Wheaton College Permanent Collection\, and the Marion B. DESCRIPTION:Following nearly five decades of teaching\, Professor of Music Ann Sears has decided that this will be her last semester at Wheaton. To celebrate all she’s done on campus\, a musical performance will take place in Cole Memorial Chapel and feature faculty and alumni. \nFollowing the performance in Cole Memorial Chapel\, light refreshments will be offered in Emerson Dining Hall. \nRegistration for the event is free. Gifts can be made in honor of Ann’s retirement and will be allocated to the Leyon-Kilkenny Music Fund which was established in 1996 by Teddy Krause Leyon ’57 and Anne Leyon Kilkenny ’84 to cover the cost of private lessons for non-music majors. \nRegister Today
