DESCRIPTION:November 7 – 13\, 2021 \nJoin the Wheaton community from all around the world for our second Run with Roary Virtual 5k! Participants can walk\, run or bike\, all at their own pace\, on their own time and in their current locations. This year\, it’s a battle between two teams; Team Cowduck and Team Bruce the Goose. Choose which team you want to be a part of and complete a 5k (3.1 miles) or more between November 7-13\, 2021. DESCRIPTION:Tracy Kelley is an educator\, writer\, and linguist working on Indigenous Language Revitalization. She is a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe and is serving as interim director of the Wampanoag Language Reclamation Project. \nTracy will be speaking about her work in language reclamation\, intergenerational learning and culturally competent teaching as a way of learning language and also as a way of passing on traditions within their community. \nRegister on Zoom  to attend virtually\, or join us in person in the May Room. \nSponsored by the Marshall Center for Intercultural Learning. \n  \n
