Hanno and guests for a Lyons Lunch and Learn webcast \nSocial entrepreneurship \nWednesday\, Feb. 26\n12:30 to 1:00 p.m. EDT \nWebcast and conversation \nPresident Hanno and Imran Chowdhury\, the inaugural Diana Davis Spencer Chair of Social Entrepreneurship and Associate Professor of Business and Management\, will discuss current social entrepreneurship initiatives and how they fit into the mission of the college’s liberal arts curriculum and\, specifically\, within Wheaton’s historic focus on experiential learning as an integral part of students’ education. \nFor this Lyons Lunch webcast\, several students involved in social entrepreneurship efforts will share what they are learning through coursework and from putting their own ideas into action. SUMMARY:Tales from Mongolia: Adventure in Social Entrepreneurship and Public Health
DESCRIPTION:Ms. Munkhbayar will discuss why and how she chose the path of entrepreneurship and social business\, her personal and professional experiences connected to social entrepreneurship in Mongolia\, and what she is trying to achieve in Mongolia and elsewhere after her Fulbright Scholarship period in the United States is complete.  Dr. Bromage will discuss how he got interested in Mongolia during his doctoral studies and the nutrition situation in the country\, his current efforts in Mongolia and related efforts elsewhere\, and where his next career steps might be following his postdoctoral work at Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. \nReception to follow in Knapton Lobby.
