SUMMARY:Student Flu Shot Clinic at Norton Medical Center
DESCRIPTION:Flu shots are now mandated by the state of Massachusetts and all students who attend any classes or activities on campus\, even once are subject to this requirement. \nAll students residing on campus or attending any classes or activities on campus will need to provide proof of receipt of a flu shot to Student Health Services by December 1st unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.  This requirement does not apply to you if all instruction and activities are conducted remotely and you are never on campus in person. \nFlu Shot Clinics at Norton Medical Center\nWheaton’s designated health center\, located right next to the Old Town Hall COVID-19 testing building \nWalk-in; no appointment necessary – First come\, first served\nMonday\, September 14th\, from 8 AM – 12:30 PM\nand Monday\, October 5th\, from 9 AM – 12:30 PM \nCOST:  Free when covered by insurance\nYou must bring your health insurance card with you to the appointment.\nAll charges will be submitted to your health insurance and deductibles and copays apply.  Please check with your insurance company to confirm coverage. \nIf you can’t attend either of these clinics\, the local Walgreens and CVS administer the flu shot on a walk-in basis daily.  Call the pharmacy to ensure availability.\nCVS   508-285-4032\nWalgreens   508-285-4961 \nQuestions?  Contact Cynthia Maricle\, Associate Director\, Student Health Services\, at maricle_cynthia@wheatoncollege.edu or Valerie Tobia\, Director of Counseling and Health Services\, at tobia_valerie@wheatoncollege.edu.

DESCRIPTION:Third in a series of four biannual exhibitions curated by students enrolled in ARTH335: Exhibition Design\, It’s Elemental: Earth considers how earth—in all of its forms—affects our world. Using objects from the Gebbie Archives & Special Collections and the Permanent Collection\, each exhibition will explore one of the four classical elements: water\, air\, earth\, fire. \nThe exhibition will be on display September 10–October 10\, 2020. \nDue to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic\, the Beard & Weil Galleries will only be open to the on-campus Wheaton community during the fall 2020 semester. We will make every effort to make our exhibitions available virtually during this time. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this global challenge and we look forward to welcoming you back to campus when we are able to resume normal operations.
