DESCRIPTION:Counseling and Health Services is excited to host Wheaton’s third annual Fresh Check Day event on Friday\, 9/27/19 from 11-2pm in The Dimple (Balfour Atrium is the rain location).  Fresh Check Day is a fun\, carnival like event designed to promote conversations about mental health\, mental wellness\, and to reduce stigma and suicide.   Join in the fun!  There will be tons of amazing raffle prizes and free giveaways\, as well as some free refreshments.  We look forward to seeing you there!!

DESCRIPTION:Adriano George da Silva leads this ensemble performing Afro-Brazilian Jazz along with interpretations of popular Brazilian music genres: Samba\, Bossa Nova\, and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). George da Silva has played with Brazilian legends Milton Nascimento and Gilberto Gil. The instrumentalists will be joined by singer and composer Adriana Pinto Moreira on vocals.
