Are you looking to decrease stress, anxiety, and depression?  Increase your energy and stamina?  Improve your flexibility, balance, and strength?

Then join retired professor Ed Tong every week for an hour of relaxing Tai Chi!

Every Friday beginning February 2nd from 12:30 – 1:30 PM in the Dance Studio

No registration necessary – all are welcome!  Please wear comfortable clothing.  Stocking feet recommended.  If you prefer to wear shoes, please note that street shoes are not permitted in the Dance Studio.

Tai Chi is a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and for a variety of other health conditions.  Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.

Tai Chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels.

Ed Tong is a retired physiology professor from Wheaton’s biology department and has practiced Tai Chi for over 30 years.
