Please join President Michaele Whelan, Interim Provost Touba Ghadessi and Dean of Students Darnell Parker for the college’s annual celebration of academic accomplishment. The keynote address will be delivered by Jonathan T. Chow, Assistant Professor of Political Science.

Departmental and College awards will be presented to students who have distinguished themselves as scholars and academic citizens of Wheaton College.  Senior Class President Eva Danielson ’22 will present the Faculty Appreciation Award and Interim Provost Touba Ghadessi will announce the recipient of this year’s endowed honorary chair, The Bojan Hamlin Jennings Chair in the Natural Sciences.

The lineup for the procession begins promptly at 4:45 p.m.  College Marshals Stephanie Daniels and Russell Williams will line up the faculty in front of Knapton Hall and students in front of the Chapel. (Inclement weather: Faculty will line up in the lower level of the Chapel and students will line up in Balfour-Hood).

Join us for a campus BBQ on the Dimple immediately following the ceremony.  Also, the recording of the ceremony and the official program will be available online shortly after the event. We hope you can join us for this special academic tradition.
