Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Applications are invited for a three-year, non-tenure-track, full-time position in computer science or closely related field at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to start in the fall of 2017. Teaching and research interests in all areas will be considered.

Wheaton College is a coeducational liberal arts college of approximately 1,600 students, located in Norton, MA between Boston and Providence, RI. We seek an innovative teacher who values interdisciplinary work and can share computational thinking with our vibrant, entrepreneurial-ready community.

Candidates with a Ph.D. in computer science at the time of appointment are preferred, but ABD candidates will also be considered at the rank of Visiting Instructor. We are particularly interested in candidates who promote diversity and broaden the impact of computational thinking through their teaching, research, and service.
