Did you come to Wheaton knowing you wanted to major in Computer Science?

I actually did not come to Wheaton thinking I would take any Computer Science classes. However, during my Sophomore year I decided to take a course just to see what it was all about, and now I am double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics.

What is your favorite programming language and why?

My favorite programming language really depends on the task I am given. Some languages are better for string manipulations, such as Perl, while other are better for big arithmetic equations, manipulating user input, creating classes etc... such as C++. In addition, Assembly language, while more tedious to work with than high level languages such as Perl, C++, or Python, is cool to work with because you begin to understand what is really happening inside your computer for each instruction you write in a program.
