Welcome to the Wheaton Community.  All students admitted for the Spring term will attend January Orientation.  This program is designed to help new students and families acclimate to Wheaton’s campus.  Over the course of these two days you will have a chance to meet students, explore Wheaton’s campus, learn about Wheaton services and get ready for the start of the Academic Year.

Registration is not required as all enrolled new students are expected to attend.

Arrival and Orientation

New Students should plan on arriving on campus between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Day One.  Check-in will take place in the Residential Life/Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership Office on the third floor of Balfour-Hood.  Residential Students will be able to also pick up their room key and will have the day to move-in and get settled.

The New Student Welcome Dinner is the first scheduled event that night at 4:30 p.m.  Family and Friends that are accompanying you to campus are welcome to attend.

Families and Friends

Families and friends are welcome to attend on Day One.  There will be specific opportunities for you to connect with staff and learn more about Wheaton College.  Please be aware that Day 1 is a holiday and some offices may be closed or have limited hours.  Please check with departments if you intend to conduct specific business while you are on campus.
