As a committed supporter of community service, Wheaton College’s President Dennis Hanno urges all members of the Wheaton community to dedicate at least 15 hours of service to “Changing Lives and Strengthening Communities” each semester through the Wheaton Cares initiative. Wheaton’s campus attracts personalities who are eager to serve in their communities as civically engaged citizens where they are most needed.

Does your organization have a project that could use some extra hands? Do you have community service opportunities that can capitalize on skills of members of the Wheaton community?

The Center for Social Justice & Community Impact has created a Community Service Project Proposal Form for community partners to gather and submit information about local community needs in order to organize meaningful community service and engagement opportunities for current Wheaton students, faculty, and staff. If you or your organization has identified a need, the Center for Social Justice & Community Impact at Wheaton College would like to try to connect you with members from the Wheaton community who can help while learning something from their experience serving in the community!
