Society and the Environment

The environmental consequences caused by the actions of human institutions have been an increasing social concern. Solving environmental problems requires an interdisciplinary approach and frequently involves collaboration of individuals with expertise in both the natural sciences and the social sciences. Business majors with this concentration will have a base on which to build for the development of sound policies and practices that allow for sustainable progress in both state and non-governmental agencies.
