Wheaton College Timeline
Discovery and innovation are an important part of Wheaton College. The Marion B. Gebbie Archives and Special Collections has recently been working on ways to improve Wheaton Community's understanding of its past with an exciting timeline of key events in Wheaton College's development. This timeline will be a great help to answer those head scratching questions, like when did Wheaton become a college?
A Brief Wheaton College Timeline explores important Wheaton events and people from its establishment in 1834 until the present. Topics include major events, prominent faculty, students and alumnae/i, architecture, speakers, and the founding family (the Wheatons). The timeline is enhanced with photographs, documents, and links that relate to and describe the topics.
