Rose Jackson ’06
Alumni Association Board of Directors

Sustaining community: “I joined the board because I want to improve the connection between Wheaton’s current students and the alumni community. I’m amazed by the really wonderful and creative things many of my classmates have gone on to do, and I’d like to help build a more active space for all of us to come together, celebrate accomplishments, and connect around common passions and interests. Wheaton helped shape who I am, and it’s a community I want to make sure sustains.”

Favorite Wheaton experience: “There are too many to choose from, and that’s what I love about Wheaton. I played lacrosse all four years and learned as much on the field and from my coaches and teammates as I did in the classroom. I sang with the Wheatones, helped build up the Roosevelt Institute, and served in student government. I was lucky to study with professors Darlene Boroviak, David Powell and Gerard Huiskamp, as well as two wonderful men who are no longer with us: Professors Jeremiah Murphy and Jay Goodman.”

For fun: “I sing and play guitar in a band, and have trained in Thai kickboxing for five years.”
