Fellowship and scholarship development
In the past decade, Wheaton students have won more than 210 highly regarded awards – including Marshalls, Rhodes, Watsons and Fulbrights. These opportunities advance Wheaton College’s mission to prepare intellectually-curious leaders who help create a more equitable and just world. Students interested in pursuing competitive fellowships and scholarships are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a member of the Scholar Development Advisory Committee (SDAC).
The SDAC mentors Wheaton students and alums who want to apply for competitive national and international fellowships and scholarships. By informing, advising and collaboratively supporting our Wheaton candidates and their advisors, we prepare applicants for the next stages of their education, career and life.

May Fellows Program
May Fellows is a student-led program that helps high-achieving students thrive academically, connect socially and engage deeply in the Wheaton community. Members participate in exclusive co-curricular and residential-based learning activities to further enrich their college experience. Members may earn academic credit through the May Fellows Colloquium and are eligible to reside in the May Fellows Living Learning Community.
Founded in 2012, the May Fellows Program was named after Elizabeth S. May, former Dean of the college. Elizabeth was the first woman ever appointed to the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
Wheaton College Graduate Fellowships
In addition to national competitions, Wheaton College offers a number of graduate scholarships for current Wheaton seniors and, in some instances, graduates of the college.

Wheaton Foundation Grants are available each semester to current Wheaton students pursuing scholarly and creative work outside the expectations of their courses.
