Records Liaisons represent individual departments concerning records and information management issues, especially during the records scheduling process.


  • Coordinate the records survey process with the records manager
  • Serve as ad hoc member of RIM Committee during records survey process
  • Coordinate RIM department training sessions with the records manager
  • Maintain department copy of records in inactive storage
  • Identify changes to records schedule as needed
  • Monitor division adherence to RIM
  • Communicate RIM information to department staff
  • Department contact for confidential destruction of records
