Megan Brooks is the Dean of Library Services at Wheaton College. As Dean, she is responsible for all matters relating to the library. The Library Services staff work with students on their research and technology projects. They provide student employees with meaningful work. Staff partner with faculty in the classroom and on college-wide projects. They build and provide access to a robust library collection that is centered on student need. And finally, Library Services staff work with academic, IT, and student affairs colleagues to foster student success.
Prior to Wheaton, Megan directed library research and instruction teams at Mount Holyoke College and Wellesley College. Megan holds an MLS from Syracuse University and a BA from the College of St. Benedict. Born and raised in Minnesota, Megan believes “Duck Duck, Grey Duck” is the superior name for the children’s game. She and her wife Amy live with a ridiculous dog named Neville Longsnoot.
