Where to Eat

Visitors are always welcome to eat on campus. You can choose from two dining halls, a café and a pub.

Wheaton is committed to more sustainable dining measures which include food and agriculture, earth-friendly procurement, energy conservation and waste management.

Café in Balfour-Hood Campus Center
Where honest food and social responsibility come together. The Cafe offers "we proudly brew" Starbucks coffee. There is a selection of fresh baked goods and hot breakfast sandwiches. For lunch grab a deli sandwich, hot soup or select a quick grab and go item.

Davis Spencer Cafe
The Davis Spencer Cafe is a wonderful addition to the campus. With its comfortable seating area it is the perfect location for studying or just catching a break in your day. Stop in for a fresh hot cup of Green Mountain coffee with a fresh baked morning pastry. At lunch you will find two hot soups and a delicious selection of panini sandwiches.

Chase Dining Hall
Real Food on Campus. Chase offers the look, feel and taste of a restaurant, with a full retail menu and great dishes prepared-to-order. Choose from a fresh array of items at the Produce Market; select freshly made pizzas or have a grilled-to-order hamburger. All of your traditional favorite comfort foods are available at the Home Zone, or you can customize your food at a saute station, made just the way you like it!

Emerson Dining Room
In addition to a full breakfast featuring eggs made to order and griddle items, this residential restaurant offers traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner fare. We feature flavor profiles from around the globe. Select over 15 items on our salad bar which feature the freshest local produce. Enjoy a custom sauteed meal that you create from 12 different fresh ingredients, 2 home-style entrees everyday or a hot toasted sandwich prepared just for you.

The Loft
The Loft is open from 10pm until 2am Sunday through Saturday. It is a favorite hangout for students. Enjoy pub food while watching the game or checking out the region's local band scene. The Loft is green—we purchase from neighboring states within 150 mile radius. We are alcohol-free Monday-Wednesday.

Please visit Dining Services for the location, hours, and menus for all four on-campus eateries.
