Learning Differences

If you have or think you may have a learning difference, we're here to help. We use approaches that teach students how to work with their visual or auditory learning differences, and we can accommodate various writing abilities.

The Writing Associate who specializes in learning differences is Connie Campana (ccampana@wheatonma.edu). Our visiting writing faculty, Professors Sherry Mason (mason_sherry@wheatonma.edu) and Ruth Foley (foley_ruth@wheatonma.edu), are also available to work with you.

In addition to contacting the Writing Associates, you can also contact
Dean Denyse Wilhelm, Assistant Dean of Academic Resources and Disability Services, ADA/504 Coordinator.

Finally, if you feel you have a learning difference that affects your ability to write, or you feel that you are underprepared to write at the college level, we recommend that you enroll in English 010, Basic Writing.
