Add a link
Linking to another webpage
Sometimes you will want to link to another page on Wheaton's site or an external site.
To add a link to any page or post, highlight the words you want to be "hot"; these words will act as the link. Click the chain-link tool
on the editing toolbar. Note: This link tool is available only after you've highlighted some words on your page.
Complete the information on the screen and save your work.
When you create a link to a page located on Wheaton's site, select "Open link in the same window" for the Target field as shown in the short video below.
When you create a link to a page located external to Wheaton's site, select "Open link in a new window" for the Target field instead.
Adding an email address
Perhaps you'd like to offer an easy way for readers to contact your department by email. Create a link as outlined above and use your contact email address as the URL (use this construction: mailto:email-address@goes.here).
