Wheaton students interested in becoming paid writing tutors will find themselves part of a highly trained and motivated team.
You will need to successfully complete a semester-long training class with Professor Susan Dearing of Wheaton's English department. Afterward, you will be required to attend professional development workshops throughout the year, and participate in an online and confidential discussion group for collegial support and feedback. Contact Deborah Stoloff, tutor coordinator, for more information.
Peer writing tutors also work at the Wallace Library to provide on call onsite tutoring for students studying there.
