What: Known Microsoft Internet Explorer Update
Details and What You Should Do: LIS has an update to the ALERT emailed to you on April 30th.
Microsoft has completed the investigation into a public report of vulnerability in its internet browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer. They have issued a security bulletin to address the Internet Explorer memory corruption vulnerability.
Microsoft is recommending that you install the most current cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to the following Microsoft website:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and follow the directions listed there. Once your system is updated you may begin using your MS Internet Explorer browser again.
