How to Dispose of records with personal and/or confidential information.
All such paper must be shredded. Wheaton College uses a National AAA-NAID certified company (CINTAS) for the secure destruction of paper records. This is the preferred method for shredding documents containing personal/confidential information. Before placing paper in these bins be sure they are locked and labeled with the CINTAS Security Container label.
* CINTAS security container bins are available in the following locations:
o (1) Park Hall basement
o (1) Library ground floor
o (2) Admissions Building/SFS
o (3) Mary Lyon Hall Basement
o (1) Kollett Center for Collaborative Learning
o (1) 10 Library Square
o (2) Doll's House
* Contact Sue Morgado (smorgado@wheatonma.edu) regarding obtaining a locked bin for your area.
Please note that all other locked bins without the CINTAS label are not secure shredding bins. If you have any question please feel free to contact Sue Morgado, X3754 or Deanna Hauck, x3713
