John Mitchell 5K race draws over 100 runners and walkers

    In memory of John Mitchell

The Third Annual John Mitchell Memorial 5K Race/Walk drew 110 participants, even under rainy skies on Sunday, April 27.   The top male runner was Mike Travers, a Norton resident, and the top female was Joslyn DelSignore of Taunton.   All proceeds from the event benefit the college through the Wheaton Fund.

The event included a brief dedication of the new John Mitchell Patio, a lovely new picnic space right outside of Physical Plant and Balfour-Hood Campus Center.  John's family proudly joined the Wheaton family for the occasion.
