Holi Bai 2012
Posted on May 7, 2012
On Friday, May 4, Wheaton students celebrated the last day of classes for the spring semester. This day also has its own tradition in the observance of Holi, the Hindu festival of color.
Holi symbolizes the good over bad--and, in our version of Holi, it symbolizes the past year's transgressions and prejudices. It's about throwing away the bad and ugly and revealing color and beauty.
This year, Greg Cook from The New England Journal of Aesthetic Research joined us. Take a look at the link for photos and stay tuned for more to follow.
