  • Vice President's Remarks on MBTA Commuter Rail Cuts at 1/24 Attleboro Hearing

    MBTA proposes the elimination of Late Night Weekday and all Weekend Commuter Rail Service across the MBTA Network. Colleges across MBTA service area up and arms. Wheaton will be seriously impacted if such action is taken. Vice President Agush and Nadia Omar from SAIL attended this evening's hearing to share with those assembled Wheaton's concerns.     The $418,950 SGA Fiscal Year 2012 Budget was approved last night. The budget will not take effect until July 1st, 2011. The Office is currently focusing its efforts on preparing a supplemental budget for the Senate's consideration as soon as possible. More »
