International Students Association

The mission of the International Student Association is to promote cultural awareness on campus. We look to bring together international and U.S. students in an atmosphere that facilitates interaction, exchange and debate over issues and questions pertaining to each student’s individual cultural identity. We also look to provide a friendly, welcoming and tolerant place where students from different countries could express the difficulties or concerns they ran into when they moved to the United States. We also look to provide advice on how to adapt to the different academic requirements that are embedded in the American educational system (and that may differ from the requirements students have grown accustomed to in their own countries) so as to help students serenely navigate through them during their freshman year.
