Lymin’ Lyons is designed to both foster and burst the so called “Wheaton Bubble.” By brining the essence of Trinidadian music and culture to the Wheaton community, we are opening up a venue within which students from all different backgrounds can come together and enjoy the beauty and energy of music. Students with absolutely no experience in playing pan will able to come to rehearsals and learn along with everyone else, creating an opportunity to include members of the Wheaton community who never before had the chance to be involved in any Wheaton ensembles, or any music performance at all for that matter.
