Women's Rugby Club

Wheaton's Women Rugby team, nicknamed the Hot Steppers, has been a part of Wheaton athletics since 1997. Women's Rugby is a year-round sport with the regular season being played in the fall, while spring is reserved for preparing for the Beast of the East Tournament in RI. 99% of our team had never played rugby before coming to Wheaton. We welcome every student who is interested in joining. No experience or athletic ability required; we will teach you everything you need. The club is student run but we have two dedicated coaches who attend practices and games.
