Men's Rugby Club

Started in 1997, Wheaton Men's Rugby competes in the Division III level of the New England Rugby Football Union Central Division. The main season is played during the fall semester from September to November. During the spring semester, Wheaton competes against several teams which are not in their conference.
The academic performance of its players is a priority for the Lyons and participation is considered secondary to achieving success in the classroom.
The Lyons are a tightly knit brotherhood on and off the pitch and the entire teams supports each other through all types of adversities. All Wheaton students are encourage to play for the Men's Rugby team and walk-on members make up a crucial part of the Lyons' squad.
