You are invited to get involved in the Student Government Association!
Please join us Tuesdays at 7pm in the Student Government Association room in Balfour. All meetings are public and all are invited to come and contribute to meetings!
What does SGA do exactly?
This is a great question! The Student Government Association acts as a central hub of communication and connection on campus. We connect students with each other as well as administration, faculty, staff and alumni. SGA every year is involved in many initiatives that we believe will enhance the student experience. These initiatives include but are not limited to:
- Distribute funding for campus events
- Approve new clubs to add to the 108+ that exist already
- Discuss policy initiatives that range from merit aid to funding for club apparel
- Invite members of the campus community to air concerns and ask questions
And so much more! Ultimatly, SGA does what the student body asks it to do. SGA exists for the students, is run by students and seeks to enhance student life here at Wheaton.
So you have some ideas?
