According to state law, all students must be covered by a health insurance plan with comparable coverage as a Mass Qualifying Student Health Insurance Plan (QSHIP). To ensure that all students have the required health insurance coverage, students are charged for the Wheaton College Student Health Plan ($1,1814 for 2015-2016). In order to waive enrollment in the Student Health Plan, a completed on-line Student Health Plan Waiver Form verifying enrollment in a comparable health plan by a U.S. health provider must be completed by the first week of September. Any student with a non US health insurance provider will be required to enroll in the Student Health Plan. The purpose of this policy is to ensure timely and quality health care while attending Wheaton College. Students who do not submit the Health Insurance Waiver will be assessed the full year premium. You may begin to access the 2015-2016 Health Insurance Waiver online in July.
Wheaton College offers an OPTIONAL Accident Insurance for any student who waives the Primary Wheaton Health Plan. The purpose of the Optional Plan is to provide low cost secondary insurance coverage.
