General description
Research in the luminescence spectroscopy of solids
Duties
Set up and conduct spectroscopic experiments
Do data analysis of experimental results, and prepare documents for publication/presentation
Designing, testing, fixing equipment
Experience/skills required
Experience in spectroscopy and general spectroscopic/laboratory equipment
Familiarity with programming and calculus
Familiarity with one or more the following software packages: LABView, Origin, and Matlab
Days/hours per week
8hrs/day , 5 days/week
