Preceptors will lead a discussion about the Wheaton curriculum, your responsibility for exploration within it, and expectations for the advising relationship. (Meet in your advising team meeting location.)
Beyond First Impressions. In this interactive session, you will get to know a bit more about yourself and your classmates. When we are open to going beyond first impressions, getting to know others and sharing a bit about ourselves, we are taking a first step toward becoming global citizens prepared to live and lead in a complex world. Creating a welcoming, safe and inclusive campus is a shared responsibility: come prepared to engage. (Clark Center)

All students must attend the two programs offered during this time block, which will build an important foundation for your experiences outside of the classroom as a member of the Wheaton community. Each program will be offered twice.

Passport to Wheaton. We may be in Norton but between on-campus clubs and local eateries you can experience a variety of cultures. Tonight’s the night to experience it all! Make sure to stop by to sample ethnic cuisine from a few local eateries. (Balfour-Hood Campus Center)
10 p.m.–11 p.m.
Dance Moves. Listen to great music and branch out to try different kinds of dance. No experience necessary! (Dance Studio, Balfour-Hood Campus Center)
Starlight Cinema. Bring a blanket, grab a snack, sit back and enjoy the show. Watch tonight’s feature under the stars on a massive movie screen. (The Dimple; in case of rain, Hindle Auditorium, Science Center)
