In this interactive session, you will get to know a bit more about yourself and your classmates. When we are open to going beyond first impressions, getting to know others and sharing a bit about ourselves, we are taking a first step toward becoming global citizens prepared to live and lead in a complex world. What Would Wheaton Do?: An engaged Bystander Workshop.1:30 p.m.– 3 p.m. & 3:15 p.m.– 4:45 p.m.
This informative and interactive session is designed to help you further your ability to step up and be a responsible member of the Wheaton community. In this workshop you’ll learn what it means to be an engaged bystander and why it’s important to step up and reduce incidents of sexual and dating violence, alcohol abuse and general disrespect on our campus. You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss what makes stepping up hard, develop the skills to know when and how to step up, and identify the resources available to the Wheaton community. WWWD!
