Policies and Guidelines about managing records and information.

• Access to Students Records Policy
  The Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) insures a wide range of rights, including, but not limited to: information about student records that the College maintains, who maintains them, who has access to them and for what purposes access is granted.

• Information Security and Confidentiality Guidelines
  Information Security and Confidentiality Guidelines address measures taken to protect confidential and personal information as well as maintain an open, collaborative and secure environment for the college's records and information. The guidelines were created in order to comply with the Massachusetts Data Security Law, effective March 2010.

• Information Security Incident Response Plan

  Information Security Incident Response Plan describes the procedures to be followed when a breach of security is discovered involving confidential or personal information regardless of the medium that it was stored in.

• Records and Information Management Policy and Procedures
  Wheaton College Records and Information Management Policies and Procedures was originally approved by Presidents Council in June 2009. On May 16, 2013 the Board of Trustees approved a revised version of the policy and procedures. This policy and procedures document outlines principles and practices for effectively managing the College’s records in accordance with legal, financial, operational, and historical values of the record.

• Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Program
  Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention Program is intended to detect, prevent, and mitigate opportunities for identity theft at Wheaton College.
