Records Liaisons represent individual departments concerning records and information management issues, especially during the records scheduling process.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the records survey process with the records manager

Serve as ad hoc member of RIM Committee during records survey process

Coordinate RIM department training sessions with the records manager

Maintain department copy of records in inactive storage

Identify changes to records schedule as needed

Monitor division adherence to RIM

Communicate RIM information to department staff

Department contact for confidential destruction of records
