Proxy
Anyone who will not be able attend their schedule lottery time, must identify an individual to make a selection in their place. That individual can be a fellow student (oftentimes it is your desired roommate) or it can be any member of the Residential Life Staff.
It is your responsibility to communicate with your proxy all pertinent information including your lottery number, dates/times, preferences, etc. Without identifying a proxy we will not place you into a room during room selection.
Identifying Your Proxy
There are two ways to communicate your proxy to us:
- Complete a proxy form, which is available in the Residential Life/SAIL Office in Balfour-Hood (right above the cafe).
- E-mail Ed Burnett from your Wheaton e-mail account (please put "Proxy" in the subject line). The e-mail should include your proxy's the name and wID. If you are asking a member of our office to choose for you, please also include a detailed list of your preferences.
