Add/drop period begins at 8:30 a.m.
|4||Thu||Course registration period for Fall ends. Late fee charged to register or add a course after this date.
Last day to obtain instructor's signature to enroll in a course on an audit basis.
|8||Mon||Course scheduling for 2016-2017 due from Department Chairs and Coordinators.|
|19||Fri||Last day to declare a course Pass/Grade/Fail.|
|11||Fri||Mid-semester notices due.|
|21||Mon||Classes resume at 8:00 a.m.|
|25||Fri||Last day to petition to drop a course without record. After this date, petitions for course withdrawals (WD recorded on transcript) will be considered only for documented and extenuating circumstances beyond a student's control.|
|25||Fri||Last day to submit a Student-initiated Connection proposal if the student is enrolled in the last course of the Connection this semester. Student-initiated Connection proposals will not be accepted for Seniors on their final semester.|
|28||Mon||Registration material distributed to faculty and students for Fall 2016 semester.|
|4||Mon||Exam notices to be returned to the Office of the Registrar.|
|11-15||Mon-Fri||COURSE SELECTION FOR FALL 2016 SEMESTER.|
|15||Fri||Registration deadline for Fall 2016 semester.
Last day to petition the Committee on Academic Standing to withdraw
from a class. If the petition is approved, the course remains on the academic record with a notation of WD. Course withdrawal requests after this date will only be considered for documented and extenuating situations beyond the student's control.
|18||Mon||Self-scheduled exam copy due to the faculty secretaries to be typed; staff in the Office of the Registrar needs to package these individually.|
|25||Mon||Pre-scheduled exam copy due to the faculty secretaries to be typed.|
|25||Mon||Printed self-scheduled exam copies to be packaged are due in the Office of the Registrar|
|16||Mon||Senior grades due no later than 9:30 a.m. This is very critical for meeting graduation deadlines. Grade recording must be completed before noon.
If you have a Senior's grade that cannot be submitted by 9:30, please inform the Registrar in advance.
|16||Mon||Recommendations for departmental honors due no later than noon.|
|18||Wed||Committee on Academic Standing meeting to recommend students for degrees and honors.|
|19||Thu||Faculty Meeting to award degrees and honors.|
|23||Mon||Grades due for Classes of '17, '18, '19 - no later than 9:30 a.m. Please be mindful of this date. Underclass students need grades for scholarships, summer school and employment.|
