Faculty Legislation documents the policies that govern faculty recruitment and appointment and promotion, academic freedom and responsibility, appeals and grievance procedures, voting rights, committee structures, the responsibilities of department chairs, the college calendar, and many other items vital to the faculty and their educational mission.  The legislation is regularly updated and the most current version is always available at this site. All faculty should consult it frequently.
