Guidelines and Handbooks

The Faculty Handbook is a rich resource for all matters concerning a faculty member's day-to-day life as a professor and year-to-year progress in the Wheaton community.  Policies governing such issues as affirmative action, sexual harassment and sabbatical and leave policies may be found here.  Here too are faculty benefits and faculty resources (such as library and information services), student resources (such as Counseling and the Office of Student of Life), and procedural guidelines that govern the grant application process, the annual evaluation of untenured faculty, and the workings of the tenure committee.  This handbook will answer many questions and point the way to the answers for many more.

A revision of the Faculty Handbook for 2012 will be on line shortly.  Working drafts of a new handbook for department chairs and a new grants application handbook will be available in the near future on this page as well.
